About

Born in Chicago, Alison Grace Koehler began making stained glass in the city of light. She received le Diplôme de Métiers d’Art from ENSAAMA as well as the Bourse Leonardo to study and archive stained glass in Scotland. She currently works independently at the Parisian pépinière of Atelier Lengaï.
She is poet and painter as well as glass artist, and her work in these mediums is interconnected. Her stained glass, like her poetry, is imbued with delicate and bold personal expression as well as happenstance and broken glass. She makes windows and hangings for transient exhibits and installations, as well as permanent art for private homes.

Stained glass windows can be commissioned for private homes and other buildings. Works can be installed directly in an existing space, built to hang in front of a window, or constructed with a light box to hang on walls. Price can vary significantly depending on size, design and materials.

A private viewing can be arranged in order to see windows and hangings available for sale. Price and availability can be given on request.

It is possible to show certain pieces pictured as well as new works in temporary installations and exhibitions.

Certain pieces make use of recycled glass and donations can be picked up on site.
